Aiken, S.C. (January 16, 2025) – Rural Health Services is delighted to welcome Lauren Nates, FNP-BC, IBCLC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, to our team. Lauren will be serving patients at the new Women and Children’s Center, where her extensive experience and passion for women’s health will be instrumental in providing exceptional care to the community.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Anderson University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. With eight years of experience in emergency care, labor and delivery, lactation consulting, and OBGYN nursing, Lauren brings a comprehensive skill set and a deep commitment to supporting women and children through every stage of life.

An Aiken native, Lauren returned to her hometown in 2020 after living in upstate South Carolina. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and daughter, participating in her church community, taking naps, savoring desserts, and expanding her knowledge of women’s health.
Rural Health Services is proud to have Lauren join the Women and Children’s Center team, where her expertise and compassionate care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in the Aiken area.
