Aiken, S.C. (January 16, 2025) - Rural Health Services extends a warm welcome to Dr. Gianinna Lamaletto, MD-FAAP, a board-certified pediatrician, to our healthcare team at the new Women & Children‘s Health Center. Dr. Lamaletto brings 8 years of pediatric experience and a deep commitment to serving children and families in the Aiken community.
Dr. Lamaletto earned her medical degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina. She completed her pediatric residency at the Bronx Health Care System, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After her training, Dr. Lamaletto worked in both outpatient and inpatient pediatrics in Alabama for five years, providing compassionate care to children in a variety of settings.
In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. Lamaletto served as an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at VCAM University. Her diverse background and academic experience make her a valuable addition to our team at Rural Health Services.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Lamaletto is excited to offer high-quality pediatric care to a broad range of families in the Aiken area. She has returned to Aiken with her husband, a polo horse trainer and player, and their two children. Together, they are thrilled to be back in the community and contribute to the health and well-being of local families.
